You are what you eat. This is my philosophy in life. That is why I always watch my diet.
I was born to a family of vegetarians so naturally, I am also one. I have never tasted any meat before and I have no idea what its tastes like. Anyway, I have no plans of tasting some. Haha! It would be a mortal sin.
I love cooking. I learned cooking because my Mom is a chef. She makes sure that she prepares our food before leaving the house for work. She makes sure that we eat well and grow healthy. Now that I am independent from them I prepare my own food to make sure it fits my diet. Whenever I am out of town working for my Uncle Rob's paper writing company , I make sure I have sandwiches with me because often times, I can't find vegetarian restaurants in some places.
I just finished my essay paper on the life expectancy of vegetarians versus non-vegetarians and from my research, I discovered that in most countries, people who eat more vegetables and less meat have longer life expectancy. Perhaps this is the reason why most people now adopted healthy living. Organic diet is now very popular in the market. I think this is excellent because while people are keeping themselves healthy, they are also helping save the planet from harmful chemicals that farmers use in growing their crops.
